 MZ was born from a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by families navigating special needs care. Miguelina Zapata, a PhD, CCC-SLP in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, witnessed firsthand the need for personalized, in-home therapy services that prioritize the well-being and progress of each individual. Driven by a passion for making a difference, she founded MZ with a commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in the comfort and familiarity of home. From humble beginnings, MZ has grown into a nationwide network, but our core mission remains the same
